Aphis eugeniae
is a species of narrow host preference found in Australasia.
Common names. None recognized.
Distribution. This aphid is recorded from the east and southeast Asia and Australia.
Host associations. It has a narrow host range and is known to feed on species of 5 plant families.
Economic importance. It is particularly important on Euphorbia and Glochidion (Euphorbiaceae), it but is often on the same hosts as Aphis spiraecola in East and Southeast Asia and in Hawaii. It has not been implicated in the transmission of any plant virus.
