Brachycorynella asparagi

is a specialists feeding only on Asparagus.

Common names. Asparagus aphid.

Distribution. This aphid is distributed within the temperate regions of North America and Europe, but not in Asia or in regions south of the equator.

Host associations. It is known only to feed on asparagus (Asparagaceae).

Economic importance. It is solely important on asparagus crops. It has not been implicated in the transmission of any plant viruses.
